WillyKote - Application Technique

Post by SavageX89 »

Hey guys! I'm getting ready to cover the fuselage of my WN Gentle Lady 250. I've got a mix of transparent and opaque colors I'll be using.

What temperature(s) do you use for applying the covering?

Any tips or tricks? I've only worked with monokote so far in my balsa building experience.

Hi there,

Suitable Temperature:
1)for solid colors, the adhesive activates at temperature of 100℃~120℃, and it will shrink between 160 ℃ ~180 ℃
2)for transparent colors, the adhesive activates at a temperature of 90℃~100℃, and it will shrink between 140 ℃ ~160 ℃

Apply WillyKote just like you would any other iron on covering, the same techniques apply.

Sincerely,
Doug and Becky
