Anyone ever put landing gear on this plane...I’ve always had problems launching and was thinking gear would solve my problem

Don,

It could be done very easily. Tricycle or Tail dragger configuration both work. It is VERY important that when it sits on the ground that it has a significant amount of up angle, if you don't it will be very difficult to rotate and take off. Landing is no problem.

Don,
Maybe just make a launch rig something like the stooges they use for Combat wings.
From the videos I've seen these thing are airborne in short order and the stooge would give you the couple inches of rail guide angled upward you would need to get airborne.
