Make sure you have prop clearance before covering the Duster fuse.
Just a heads up.

What was the issue?

I usually complete a full mock up before I cover the air frame and flight feathers but I got lazy on my duster build. I had everything ready to go but I didn't mount the motor and mount of the "Cox TD 0.10 flight pack"
What ended up happening was I was about 1/8" short of clearing the cheeks when I finally mounted the motor and mount so I had to remove a little piece of Willy Cote to shorten the very front of the fuse. I remove about an 1/8" heavy from the fuse side itself and everything was okey dokey. There was no indication of bad tooling when I was fitting the firewall or any of the remaining fuselage parts.
Had I done the mock up like I always do,(yeah, right) this would have been a nothing burger.
All in all, it was my oversight and in the modeling world a non-problem.

Thank you for letting us know John. We'll fix that on future Duster kits.
Sincerely,
Doug and Becky

Hi Doug and Becky,
I will be sure to check this, as I started building Dusty last night. Kinda stuck because I couldn't find the landing gear drawing... Want to tie the gear on the former before the fuse is assembled.
I will say that is the straightest wing I have ever built!!
