motor doesn't spin

When I power up the plane the motor (Racestar 1104) beeps and the prop twitches but doesn't spin. If I apply throttle it beeps more rapidly still doesn't spin. Any ideas?

Hi Steve,
Move your throttle trim all the way down. The ESC is sensing the throttle is part open and won't arm the motor as a safety feature.

Sounds like you have the esc plugged into the wrong set of pins. same thing happens to me when I plug my esc into channel 4 rather than 1.
