Wee Sioux thoughts

Post by tzsetzse »

I had posted on Facebook my intensions of laminating the inside fuselage halves with 1/64" ply for wing hold-down reinforcement.
I received several replies as to the integrity of the design and that building, "as-is" or stock as designed was my best bet.
Evidently, my modification was met with some resistance when all I was attempting was a "personal" desire, based on my flying planes through brick walls, LOL...

Anyway, I did also get a positive "vote" or two! I compromised and decided to follow someone's advice and NOT laminate the entire cabin area as originally intended. Weight, you see as being the aforementioned consequence of my modification.

I know when I'm wrong or how my "ideas" need some polish, hee-hee.

Here's where I am today. Also, working at this scale is a tremendous strain on my ham-fisted approach to building....
