CG of the Delta 250
CG of the Delta 250
I have misplaced the Delta build sheet, and would like to know what the CG is on the Delta Sport 250?
Re: CG of the Delta 250
I have uploaded the build sheet to this forum. To save you a bit of time, the CG is listed as 7.5 inches from the wing trailing edge NOT including the elevons.
One word of caution when flying the Delta: keep your speed up in turns. If you don't, it will sometimes enter a flat spin. If that happens AND you have enough altitude, try gunning the throttle. That sometimes works even without active rudders. If you do NOT have sufficient altitude, just throttle back to idle/stop and let it pancake. It's a tough little bird and if you pancake slowly enough, it won't be damaged. I have done that plenty of times and simply picked it up and tossed it back into the air to finish the flight. Good luck and enjoy a very fun little plane.
